Wow! So, Andrew and I have been wanting to put a sticky post (the first post on the page that always remains there) on our adoption blog for awhile. I had no idea how to do it. I had no idea it was called a sticky post even...until today. And you want to know something? It was a piece of cake! Maybe it isn't totally right, but it worked. And actually, this post is a final test to make sure it really works. Here are instructions in case you ever want to do it.
First, there are actually two options: 1) the post is centered and directly underneath your header; 2) the post is in the same position and format as your other posts.
1) Centered
Log in to blogger.com. Go to Layout, then Page Elements. Right under your header, click the box that says "Add a Gadget." Click Text, type whatever you want, and save it. That is it!
2) Normal looking post
Log in to blogger.com. Go to Layout, then Page Elements. Right under your header or in the side column, click the box that says "Add a Gadget." Click Text, type whatever you want, and save it. Now, drag that box that you just typed the info in over to the area on the page that says Blog Posts. Click save. That is it!
Then, just thank Brianna for figuring out what in the heck a sticky post is!
